My name is Samira, 26 years of age and I live in the Hague. In 2011 I started studying graphic design. Three years later I graduated as a graphic designer and finished this course one year quicker than usual. It was nice designing prints and digital media, but I wanted a bit more challenging than just that. Prints can be a bit static and I have been interested in code since I was young. That is when I decided to study Communication & Multimedia Design at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. It is also where I discovered that I am interested in the part where people interact with technology.
In my spare time I like to pick up a controller and play action-packed videogames (especially Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch). I’m also a huge fan of Nintendo. Ask me anything ;) You can also find me reading articles and books or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. There is hardly a day in which I prepare a meal in exactly the same way. I love improvising! It’s the best way to improve my skills and learn new things. A few of my personality traits are that I tend to approach matters by intuition, besides being open-minded. I love to discover and learn something new, while enjoying a good cup of coffee, of course!
